I need to comment on "back in the...", but I can't! No comment link!


I think there is only one solution to the problem of abuse by security personnel. We need to force them to do what the INS is already doing; they need to videotape everything that goes on in the secure area. There need to be an arbitration board that can review those tapes, at the request of a citizen, and visit discipline where it is required. We are assured of significantly better behavior and a reduction in abuse when the security personnel know their every move is being taped. It protects them and us.
