The folks at xml.com, part of the O'Reilly goodness, have made a streamed version of my book, Free Culture, available. You can access it as a stream, or download it to your device.

Thank you, Professor Lessig! Looking forward to becoming actively involved in first, understanding how I can become more involved, to then act upon this knowledge. I know there are a lot of folks who are excited to help in any way they can, and through all of your hard work, and ongoing leadership I can definitely feel comfortable in stating we have all the tools necessary, now we just need to use them :)

I was just about to buy more of your books. "Code and Other Laws of Cyberspace" is one of the most interesting books I've read in the past few years. It significantly affected my thinking and analysis of technology and the world of the future.
I am working on my first book right now, about MySpace.com. While the specific focus of my book is on near-term safety issues for parents, as I write, much of what I learned from "Code" enters into my thinking: isn't there a significant long-term risk inherent in the huge online personal information databases that are controlled by the MySpace code? The last "safety tip" in my book will ask and address this question.
Thank you (and thanks also to the people at O'Reilly) for making "Free Culture" streamable and downloadable. I'll probably still buy the book, but having the steam available lets me start listening right away.

I just listened to the streamed version of Free Culture. Thank you for making that available to the public. I wish every single person whom ever lived or breathed would take the time to listen to this. People love to talk about our "Freedom", but no one is willing to fight for it anymore. We have become a complacent society that is unwilling to stand up say, "Give me liberty or give me death." Thank you again. I am glad you wake up every day and try to show the world where its going and remove the blinders that have been put into place for our security.
I like forks ,too.I think forks cocludes many deeply meaning.
