Talks at Google
Professor Lawrence Lessig visits Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss his latest project: Change Congress, whose mission is to reform the campaign finance system and limit the influence of special interests in Washington. This event took place on February 19, 2009, as part of the Policy Talks@Google series.
Lawrence Lessig is the cofounder of Change Congress, and has long been a leading thinker on the law and technology, especially reforming copyright law. He is the founder of the nonprofit Creative Commons and the author of Code, The Future of Ideas, Free Culture, and Remix. Next year, Professor Lessig will rejoin the faculty at Harvard Law School and start a new position as the faculty director of Harvard University's Edmond J. Safra Foundation Center for Ethics.
